The luxurious Bulgari Hotel Milano exudes sophistication and style like no other

The Bulgari Hotel Milano, a 5 star luxury hotel, is located in the historic Brera district, in the bustling centre of Milan, Italy. It is steps from Via Montenapoleone, Via della Spiga, the Milan Cathedral, and La Scala Theatre, and is a fitting neighbour to these Italian icons - the hotel combines historical architecture and modern opulence, in keeping with both the city of Milan and the infamous Bulgari fashion brand.

This chic, stylish hotel has been decked out with beautiful materials of the highest quality. The 18th century former palace has just 58 rooms, and manages to incorporate both classic and contemporary styles in its look, with decor that has been planned precisely and thoughtfully so as to exude class and style.

In keeping with Bulgari's fascinating and glamorous history, photographs and sketches of the brand’s famous jewels (as well as famous faces from the past wearing them) are found throughout the hotel, and numerous carefully curated books in the lounge and hotel rooms will easily help you while away an hour or two, especially with an aperitif before dinner.

Every room in has been carefully designed to give a sense of cohesion, quality and space, but the hotel's crown jewel is the Bulgari suite on the top floor. It has a mightily impressive outlook thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows, and features a teak floor which creates continuity throughout the large space, plus a wrap-around terrace, and gorgeous stone fireplaces. Turkish Bihara stone is displayed prominently in the bathroom, most notably in the luxurious stand-alone bath tub. [To be continued...]
